Last night Mia and Morgan called me very excited. They had a lemonade stand yesterday to raise money for my 3 Day walk. They are doing it until Thursday and yesterday they had already raised $4.00. The girls were bummed they couldn't walk the 60 miles when I had first told them I was doing it and I had mentioned the pink lemonade stand as a way they could help me fundraise. The weather hasn't been too warm until this week, so I was going to wait to do it with them this weekend. Over time, I thought they had forgotten about it since I hadn't mentioned it, but I was definitely wrong. They recruited a few friends to help them and all the kids agreed that none of them would get any of the money and it would all go towards my walk. It was very cute. I hope next year Mia can get involved in the Youth Corps for the 3 Day since she'll be 10 in November of this year. She has become very passionate about breast cancer awareness and doing everything she can to help.
Here's the last shirt in the series for the "Think Pink Panthers" team. I believe this is the Day 2 shirt.

Also, here's the back of the shirt:

I'm kind of surprised I got them done so quickly. I tend to procrastinate but it was something I had a lot of fun doing. It was also rather therapeutic for me. When I was sad or missing my mom, I tend to want to surround myself with the 3 Day. I feel like I'm doing something to help even if it's small. I just wish there was more that I could do.
I'm tempted to post on the message boards and see if anyone else wants shirts designed, but I'm a tad hesitant. This previous team knew what they wanted for the most part and I'm nervous I'll run out of ideas. We'll see what happens though.
